In March of 2022 after many months of not seeing several families at the assembly, one of the "Elders" let slip that a certain family had left the church.
In the aftermath of that several of the loving people at the Assembly reached out to the departed. An email from the family, a loving gracious email, was sent to many of the addresses in the church directory. The response of the clergy was as swift as it was uncharitable. At the very next meeting one of them stood up and mislead the congregation. Following their hearts instead of Scripture they overreacted and in a fleshly fashion.
Had they been willing to submit to the Scriptures, they would not have taken these steps.
Consider Matt 18: 15 Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.
16 But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.
17 And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.
18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Had they been offended, they should have purposed to "gain their brother". Instead they spoke to everybody but the author of the "offending" letter.
Not ensuring they understood the heart and content of the message, they proceeded to "bad mouth" the brother. Stay tuned for excerpts from this wolf's words.
